Commuters heading for Abu Dhabi may experience lengthy delays this morning.
An earlier crash on Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Road, near Al Shahama heading towards Abu Dhabi, is still causing congestion, despite the accident having already been cleared.
The crash, which was reported by Abu Dhabi traffic police at about 7.30am, blocked three lanes of the highway.
There is also congestion on the E20 Abu Dhabi – Suweihan Road, from the roundabout near Sas Al Nakhl until Khalifa City, according to Waze.
