UAE traffic: Commuters delayed between Dubai and Sharjah

Slow moving traffic was reported this morning on many roads in the UAE.

Abu Dhabi police urge drivers to be cautious due to an accident, inbound on the Abu Dhabi – Al Ain Road, after Mahwi bridge blocking the left lane and causing traffic delays.

There was the usual congestion on Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road from Rifaa in Sharjah to Nad Al Sheba in Dubai and on Al Ittihad Street from Sharjah Industrial Area 7 to Al Khabaisi.

Heavy traffic was also reported on Al Amardhi Road near Wadi Al Amardi, on Al Khawaneej Road from Muhaisnah 1 to Rashidiya, and on Oud Metha Street in the direction of Umm Hurair 2.

In Abu Dhabi, traffic was building on Mussafah Bridge and on Abu Dhabi Gate City (West) around Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street.
