“We all take pride in our Armed Forces, which are a symbol of patriotism and allegiance to the wise leadership and of belonging to this good land.”
Dr Al Qubaisi also praised the sacrifices made by those soldiers who had fallen in the line of duty, adding that they and their families had proven UAE citizens were not afraid to give their lives for their country.
And while the country celebrates the soldiers who have returned, and who have set great examples of patriotism and the sacrifices needed to be made for future generations, Dr Al Qubaisi spoke of her confidence in the second batch of troops serving in Yemen.
The entire community, and all Adec staff and students, should be inspired by the courage shown by the country’s soldiers, Dr Al Qubaisi said.
