ABU DHABI // President Sheikh Khalifa has bestowed the Order of Independence (First Class) on two ambassadors to the UAE – Umej Singh Bhatia, of Singapore, and Aref Al Nayed, of Libya.
The orders were presented to the men in recognition of the ambassadors’ efforts to enhance relations between the countries.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presented the honours at his office in the ministry yesterday. Sheikh Abdullah praised the two ambassadors for their work.
