The Heart-to-Heart Campaign has concluded its mission in Egypt under the supervision of a multinational medical and surgical volunteer team.The campaign was a joint effort by the Zayed Giving Initiative at the Saudi German Hospital and the Dar Al Ber Charity. It aims to raise awareness of cardiac disease and the best methods of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease, the most common cause of death in the region. About 85 per cent of heart disease could be prevented through early detection and by following preventive health-care methods.
