ABU DHABI // Friday’s sermon will convey to worshippers the importance of unity.
“We are living the beautiful days of the 44th National Day of the UAE, and we are thrilled with this historic achievement,” the sermon will say.
“Unity is a legitimate duty, and an important reality, and Islam urges us to unite for noble reasons. Allah urges people to meet and have affection in their hearts, to achieve overall goodness in the nation.
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.”
Unity is a great blessing, which has great outcomes, as it allows for people’s interests to be met, as well as creating power and strength in the people.
“Allah has promised those who hold on to his rope of Islam with victory. By complying with his Sharia, Allah will help the Muslim diaspora against their enemies,” the sermon will say. “As the Prophet Mohammed said: ‘Allah will give the upper hand to those who stand in unity’.”
The sermon also praises the UAE’s leaders for their hard work in overcoming obstacles and unifying the people.
“We shouldn’t forget to pay tribute to our forefathers who built this nation and glory. They planted the seed of love and patriotism in our hearts for this beloved country.
“It is loyalty to also remember their sacrifices that built this nation and strengthened our unity, until the UAE became a pioneer and a model. So let us not forget them from our prayers,” the sermon concludes.
