UAE ‘a source of pride for all’, Sheikh Saif says in National Day speech



In a speech commemorating the 42nd National Day, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, spoke of national unity, strength and security.

Sheikh Saif also thanked the country’s Rulers and residents for making the UAE “a source of pride for all people”.

“The whole region acquired a borne high position with the birth of the Union. The Federation stood a role model in all fields upon the unity of seven stars that enlightened the country and the Arab Peninsula. Thanks to the loyal people and our enlightened Ruler, the leader of the process, this Union became few decades later the dear home and source of pride for all people.

“Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces are putting exceptional efforts to safeguard the country’s honour and protect its civilized achievements.

“These efforts ensure the security of the state, the happiness of the people and the sovereignty and stability of the well-established country. We are a closely united people, army and security forces, and we assure that the Emirates will be a nightmare for rabble-rousers and a heaven for its loyal citizens and visitors.

Sheikh Saif further congratulated the country's leadership, citizens and guests.

“We ask the praised Allah that we always celebrate this glorious national event with abundant security, stability and welfare.”
