ABU DHABI // The UAE has become a model for women’s empowerment as it provides them with opportunities to contribute to society, Mona Al Marri, president of the Dubai Women Establishment, recently told the UN.
She told the UN Women organisation that the UAE was “dedicated to promoting the spirit of tolerance and spreading hope and positivity in the Arab world”.
Ms Al Marri is also vice-president of the UAE Gender Balance Council.
