ABU DHABI // Two 19-year-old Emiratis were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in crashed on the Abu Dhabi-Al Sila road, near the entrance to Al Ruwais.
The vehicle hit the central reservation before crashing into a lamppost.
Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate urged motorists to remain cautious while driving, to abide by speed limits and drive safely.
Officers also requested motorists to take part in awareness campaigns organised by police to reduce accidents and to encourage safe driving, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.
