DUBAI// A 650 metre-long German stollen cake will go on display at the Mall of the Emirates next month with visitors urged to give it a try and help a good cause in the process.
The 9th Annual Stollen Charity Cake display takes place at the Mall of the Emirates on Friday, December 5.
It takes a team of 30 chefs and 50 volunteers from the Kempinski Hotel at the mall five weeks to create with the funds raised going to the Dubai Centre for Special Needs.
Members of the public can try a slice of the German fruitcake when it goes on display all day from 10am for Dh5 or buy a loaf for Dh100.
