One woman was killed and two men have been run over in a series of traffic crashes reported by Dubai Police.
The woman was killed on Friday afternoon after a truck travelling on Maabar Al Khaleej Bridge from Bur Dubai towards Deira caused an accident due to a defective tyre. Two other people sustained serious and moderate injuries.
In two separate crashes on Friday, an Emirati was run over on Umm Suqeim Street after the Academy Bridge. The victim sustained moderate injuries and was transferred to Rashid Hospital. Earlier in the day, an Indian man was run over on Kuwait Street in front of Al Watan Building and sustained moderate injuries.
In other crashes that occured from Wednesday through Friday, seven people sustained mild to moderate injuries.
