Roads were clear this Sunday morning in Abu Dhabi and Dubai as less commuters headed out as schools are off for the end of the term.
In Sharjah, E11 outbound to Dubai suffered major backlog from near Safeer Mall all the way past Dubai’s Tasheel Al Nukhba Centre. Corresponding routes, such as Al Taawun Street also faced slow movement.
Police throughout the UAE have warned motorists as rainy weather conditions are expected to continue through the day in certain areas. Abu Dhabi Police told drivers on Thursday to be careful ahead of the winter storm, checking vehicle headlights, windshield wipers and brakes.
