Commuters faced heavy congestion in and out of Dubai with tailbacks on a number of roads on Tuesday morning.
Motorists faced bumper to bumper traffic on Al Ittihad Street, Mohammed bin Zayed Crossing and on Al Khalil Road towards Abu Dhabi around Business Bay.
Sheikh Zayed Road and Beach Road were said to be relatively clear.
On Kalba Street before the Emirates Road intersection, an accident was reported, causing heavy traffic.
In Abu Dhabi, slow traffic movement was reported on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, while an accident was reported on the E12 before the Saadiyat Bridge leading to slight delays.
