Sharjah was again plagued with heavy traffic on Monday morning with major roads and highways witnessing backlog.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road was busy from Sharjah's Al Tarfa area all the way to the Dubai International Airport, with a crash on the Maliha Road intersection and another near Dubai Investment Park.
Tailbacks were also reported on Al Ittihad Road from the Safeer Mall to the Hor Al Anz East heading into Dubai, as well as from Al Ghubaiba to Sharjah's Cultural Square.
In Abu Dhabi, Salam Street was congested in both directions, as well as Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street from Sas Al Nakheel Village to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road around Al Maqta Bridge.

Sid Jhurani is not the first cricketer from the UAE to go to the UK to try his luck.
Rameez Shahzad Played alongside Ben Stokes and Liam Plunkett in Durham while he was studying there. He also played club cricket as an overseas professional, but his time in the UK stunted his UAE career. The batsman went a decade without playing for the national team.
