Roads from Sharjah to Dubai were clogged up on Thursday morning after heavy traffic was reported on Al Wahda Street leading to the Dubai-Sharjah Road.
Slow moving traffic was also reported on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from Sharjah’s Industrial Area area up to Dubai International Airport and on Sharjah’s Third Industrial Street Dubai-bound through to Beirut Street.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road leading up to the roundabout near Dubai Investment Park was also congested Abu Dhabi-bound as well as the Umm Suqeim exit on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Mall of the Emirates.
An accident was reported on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Road, Abu Dhabi-bound, around the Ghantoot area and some traffic built up on Ras Al Khor Road going into Dubai around the Warsan and Al Warqa roundabout.
Slight congestion was reported in Abu Dhabi on the Corniche after the Mina Zayed Port going toward Emirates Palace as well as a few areas across Delma Street and Salam Street.
