There are heavy delays throughout downtown Sharjah this morning, extending over the border with Dubai into Rashidiya, Deira and Al Karama.
Motorists should expect setbacks if driving southbound on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near University City and on the Dubai-Sharjah border of Sheikh Zayed Road. There are slight delays near Dubai Silicon Oasis further on SMBZ Road.
In Abu Dhabi, traffic is moving smoothly, with small tailbacks north and southbound on Salam Street near the Eastern Mangroves and the Al Nahyan district. There are small delays inbound this morning on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road, that cleared before Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
