Two people have died in road accidents in Dubai. Col Saif Al Mazrouei, director of the General Department of Traffic, said a British woman was run over on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road at 9am on Monday, near the Global Village exit.
An Asian man also died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday.
Col Al Mazrouei said: “At 12.10pm, police units were dispatched to the scene of an accident, in which a vehicle and motorcycle collided in the Abu Hail area. The person driving the motorcycle was killed.”
