Sheikh Mohammed approves design for RTA building

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid endorsed the model design for the centre, which will provide management of public transport during Expo 2020.

DUBAI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the model design for a building to be constructed for Expo 2020.

The Dh335 million Green Enterprise Command and Control Centre will be used for the management of public transport required for the Expo, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said.

The building will have a central control unit for RTA agencies such as the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, public transport, taxis and traffic systems.
