Sharjah Police have launched a month-long campaign to warn motorists against riding unlicensed and illegal motorbikes.
Brochures will be handed out to motorcyclists containing safety tips and warning them of the risks of riding a vehicle without a licence, of failing to observe traffic laws and exceeding speed limit on roads.
Police also said that from mid-October they will start impounding bikes that violate traffic rules.
