Drivers faced disruption during rush hour on Tuesday morning after a truck overturned near the Falcon City of Wonders on the Sharjah bound section of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
Motorists have been warned to expect delays to their journey times.
On Monday, two people were treated for minor injuries following a collision involving two vehicles behind Al Quoz cemetery. One of the cars is understood to have jumped a red light. The incident occurred on Al Khail Road at around 11.15am with one of those involved suffering a head injury.
A minor incident was also reported at around 7.45am on Tuesday on the E66 Dubai to Al Ain road after Academic City towards the Dubai exit. No one was reported to have been injured.
Police in Abu Dhabi said there had been no incidents of note overnight.
