DUBAI // Times for paid parking and public transport in Dubai will change for Ramadan.
The changes cover RTA service centres, public car parks, public buses, Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram and marine transit.
Customer service centres will be open from 9am to 2pm from Sunday to Thursday in Umm Al Ramool, Al Barsha, Deira and Karama; from 9am to 5pm at Al Tawar, Al Manara and Al Awir centres; and Jumeirah (JBR) Centre from 10am to 3pm.
Fees for parking will be payable in specified areas from 8am to 10pm from Saturday to Thursday.
Bus services will operate from 5am to midnight at main stations such as Gold Souq and Al Ghebaiba.
Smaller stations such as Al Qusais will run from 5.15am to midnight.
Metro feeder stations at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa-Dubai Mall, Abu Hail and Etisalat stations will start at 5.15am and close at 12.30am from Saturday to Wednesday, from 5.15am to 1.10am of the following day on Thursday and 9.30am to 1.10am on Friday till the following day.
Dubai Metro’s Red Line will be open from 5.30am to midnight from Saturday to Wednesday and from 5.30am on Thursday until 1pm on Friday.
All stations on the Green Line will run from Saturday to Wednesday from 5.50am to midnight, on Thursday from 5.50am to 1am on Friday and from 10am on Friday to 1am the following day.
