Dubai Police has launched a smart app that enables the public to locate accidents and traffic jams in the emirate to help them avoid queues and find alternative roads.
Col Khaled Nasser Al Razouqi, director of general department of smart services, called on the public to benefit from the new service, called Accidents Now, which is linked directly with the operations centre at Dubai Police.
Col Al Razouqi said that since the launch of the force’s mobile website in November 2013, there had been more than 1.3 million users.
