As has been the case all week, rush hour traffic reduced the morning commute from Sharjah to Dubai to a crawl on Tuesday. However, no accidents were reported.
Dubai Police’s Traffic and Patrol Department said the roads were congested but had remained accident-free. Traffic jams were particularly bad along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
There was congestion along Al Ittihad Road from Al Taawun Bridge in Sharjah to Al Nahda Subway towards Dubai as well as along Al Rebat Street from Al Warqa Bridge to Business Bay.
