Dubai// The new ‘m-store’ service has been added to the Road and Transport Authority’s Drivers and Vehicles app to allow users to send official documents from their smartphones and tablets.
Users will also be able to view their driving license and vehicle ownership card, all of which are linked with their traffic file at the RTA.
“The new addition would save time and effort for the customers,” said Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of the Licensing Agency at RTA. “The service is user friendly and accessible to customers after they register at the RTA’s website.”
The app is part of an initiative to transform Dubai into a smart city. Around 200 new services on smartphones are expected to be released by the end of the year.
