Lorry driver killed in three-vehicle crash in Dubai

The collision occurred in the direction of Sharjah, near the winter camps.

DUBAI // A 43-year-old driver from an Asian country has been killed in a three-lorry collision on Emirates Road.

The collision occurred on Wednesday on the Sharjah-bound side of the road, near the winter camps area.

Brigadier Saeed Bin Sulaiman, director of Al Rashidiya Police Station, said the third vehicle collided with the second vehicle, which then hit the first lorry, killing its driver.

The driver in the second vehicle sustained injuries and was transferred to hospital for treatment.
