Emirati woman dies and her three children injured in RAK accident

RAS AL KHAIMAH // An Emirati woman has died in a car accident that left three of her children injured in Ras Al Khaimah.

The 42-year-old was driving with her three children when she lost control of her car which flipped onto its side, said Maj Salem Abu Ruqaibah, Director of Traffic and Patrols Branch at the Diqdaqa Police station.

Police and ambulance services were immediately called to the scene but the woman appeared to be dead upon their arrival, according to police. The woman’s body and her children were taken to an unspecified hospital.

Maj Abu Ruqaibah offered his condolences to the family and urged drivers to adhere to speed limits and drive with caution in poorly lit areas.
