Dubai Police released pictures of a 13-vehicle pile-up as they urged drivers to be cautious in low visibility.

The accident happened on Emirates Road on Sunday morning.

Officers said three people were injured in the crash on the Sharjah-bound lane.

Images showed a damaged pick-up truck and vehicles scattered across the lanes.

Fog, dust and changeable weather are common at this time of year, as the seasons change and temperatures ramp up.

Officers have repeatedly told drivers to watch their speed, keep their distance from the vehicle in front and drive carefully in poor conditions.
