Driving safety videos showing at Emarat petrol stations in Dubai

Video clips educating motorists about safe driving techniques are being shown at 40 Emarat petrol stations in Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said on Thursday.

Maitha bin Udai, chief executive of the traffic and roads agency at RTA, said the aim is to diversify media channels to present traffic awareness and attract the attention of road users.

Educational movies, including rain and fog driving tips, will be shown on screens.

“The agency had previously produced awareness films focusing on the importance of using a safety belt, fitting vehicles with a baby seats, speeding risks, driving distraction, and the importance of leaving sufficient safety distances between vehicles,” Ms bin Udai said. “These films will be displayed in accordance with the flow of future awareness plans.”
