Sharjah Police have launched a campaign to remind people not to misuse disabled parking spaces.
More than 1,400 tickets have been issued since the beginning of the year involving parking spaces reserved for those with special needs.
The campaign is called Don’t Take My Right. Parking illegally in a handicapped space carries a Dh1,000 fine and four black points on the licence..
