Dh34m in projects to improve roads

Abu Dhabi Municipality is carrying out two projects, each worth Dh17 million, to resurface and improve internal roads in the emirate.

The work, expected to be completed by July 2016, aims to improve the efficiency of the infrastructure in line with the capital’s sustainable development standards and to meet the needs of road users in terms of road safety and bridges and roads network efficiency.

Current projects include maintenance and renovation works of internal roads and bridges within Abu Dhabi Island at an overall cost of Dh93.4m.
