Sharjah commuters to Dubai experienced most of the UAE’s traffic Monday morning with some backlog on major roads.
Although most of the UAE’s roads were clear this morning, cars were bumper-to-bumper on Al Wahda Street Dubai-bound from Al Safeer Mall all the way to Al Khabaisi area before Deira City Centre.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road also witnessed heavy traffic from Sharjah to Dubai from Al Rifa’a area to Al Qusais 3, as did Beirut Street from the Maliha Road intersection to Al Qusais Industrial Area 4.
An accident was reported on Al Khawaneej Street by Dubai International Airport, causing minor backlog.
Abu Dhabi roads were mostly clear with minor traffic on Zayed The First Street and on Muroor Road by the Capital Garden.
