A road in Dubai's Business Bay was heavily flooded on Wednesday afternoon, causing traffic chaos.
Residents said a burst pipe caused the deluge, with water up to their knees.
A large section of Marasi Drive, near Al Khail Road, was flooded from about 1pm.
Commuters were forced to turn around on the one-way road because it was blocked.
The incident caused major traffic disruption.
Some commuters struggled to make their way through the flooded area.
Residents said at least one car was stranded on the road as water levels rose sharply.
