Accidents in Sharjah and Dubai slowed morning traffic into schools and offices on Thursday.
An accident on the Al Ain road after Zayed University on the Dubai bound route was reported that was causing delays across the stretch of highway.
A second accident in Dubai occurred near the Mall of the Emirates exit on Sheikh Zayed road.
In Sharjah another accident after the National Paints interchange towards Dubai resulting in congestion building up on the main roads.
Tailbacks brought traffic to a crawl in several areas including Al Quoz and Dubai Investment Park in Dubai, near Zayed the first street in the Al Zahiyah area in Abu Dhabi and on the Maliha Kalba road in Sharjah.
