Two tourists have been arrested in Sharjah on suspicion of robbing bank customers.
The men, from an Arab country, would monitor and follow customers before breaking into their cars and stealing money they had withdrawn, police said.
Col Ibrahim Alajel, deputy director of Sharjah CID, said officers were able to identify the men and arrest them.
During interrogations, the men reportedly confessed to carrying out the robberies and other thefts in neighbouring emirates.
