A UAE pop music festival taking place in Dubai in the evening of October 27 will be sure to be a family-friendly event, according to the land owner of the Austism Rocks Arena.
The Ahli Holding Group announced its decision not to serve hard beverages at Fiesta de Los Muertos to ensure it remains all-inclusive and appeals to all ages, cultures and nationalities.
“Judging from attendees of last year’s ‘Fiesta de los Muertos’ and looking at the demographic of the ticket buyers this year, it has become clear that the Halloween-themed music festival attracts an abundance of families, teens and children,” it said in a statement.
“We hope that the decision to make it dry will foster this family atmosphere and respect the customs of the land in which it is being held and we hope that these world-class artists will be enjoyed by all."
The second edition of the event, which is organised by event promoter 117 Live, will include pop sensation Mohammed Assaf, the group Gorillaz, Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepson, grime star Stormzy and Mexican troupe The Mariachis.
