Thunderstorms and rain were reported over parts of Al Ain on Monday. Rain fell on Umm Ghafah, Al Sarooj, Al Dhaher, Saa, Khatm Al Shekla and Malaqit, accompanied by strong winds across the city.
It also rained in Mezyad, Al Foah, Al Jimi and Jebel Hafeet, while the city centre remained dry.
The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology said clouds formed over eastern part of the country and in Al Ahramiya, with heavy showers in Khatm Al Shekla, and light rain in Al Kimi and Al Dhaher.
