RAS AL KHAIMAH // Three bodies have been found in a sponge and paper tissues warehouse that burned down on Sunday near RAK mall.
The bodies were discovered by employees of the warehouse during the cleanup. The Ras Al Khaimah civil defence were alerted and dispatched to the scene.
According to sources close to the investigation, the bodies were burnt beyond recognition.
Firefighters from four civil defence stations managed to control the blaze on Sunday before it spread to adjacent warehouses.
The burnt warehouse stored chemical materials that were removed by civil defence teams to avoid an explosion.
Initial reports did not indicate any human casualties.
The site was handed over to the forensic laboratory of RAK Police to determine the cause of the incident.
