ABU DHABI // The UAE Embassy in Khartoum has supplied computer equipment to the National Library of Sudan.
Computer equipment, printers, scanners and power-saving high-technology devices were presented by Hamad Al Junaibi, the UAE ambassador to Sudan, to the National Library of Sudan in the presence of Sayed Ali Haroun, the Sudanese minister of state for culture, according to state news agency Wam.
Mr Al Junaibi spoke of the brotherly ties between the two countries and said the initiative was part of various UAE programmes to enhance development.
Mr Haroun thanked the UAE leadership, government and people. He said the gift was a major boost for the library’s electronic services.
