The new enforced speed limit of 140kph on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai motorway goes into effect today. The change will cover the road leading from Sas al Nakhal to Dubai, where drivers could previously reach speeds of 160kph without being penalised.
The enforced speed restrictions on roads leading from Al Mafraq bridge to Saih Shoeib, and from Al Mafraq bridge to Sas al Nakhal, have also been reduced to 140kph.
