The Shooting Championship in Al Sawan area, part of the sports week programme of Ras Al Khaimah Police, was attended by Brig Abdullah Al Hadidi, director general of police operations.
Brig Al Hadidi said the Ministry of Interior is keen to organise such events to strengthen ties among staff and offer them an opportunity to enjoy themselves.
Lt Col Arif Al Rais, head of the sports activities section at the police union, said sports week was one of the many activities held by the ministry that aim to enhance the skills of the police, including shooting.
