Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, supreme chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, met the US ambassador to the UAE Barbara Leaf at Al Bahar Palace on Sunday.
They discussed views on women’s issues and Sheikha Fatima wished Ms Leaf success in her new task of further strengthening cooperation between the UAE and the US, state news agency Wam said.
