Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed meets with Qudwa organisers and Desert Challenge Team

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed on Wednesday received the UAE Desert Challenge Team which is taking part in the F1 in Schools World Champions this year in Malaysia.

The UAE Desert Challenge Team was the only Arab team which qualified for the finals after competing against those from 53 countries.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, wished the team further success while stressing the importance of supporting and motivating talented and innovative Emiratis to compete in international competitions.

Sheikh Mohammed also met with the organising committee for the Qudwa Global Teachers' Forum on Wednesday to discuss developments in education.

During the meeting, they discussed the topics that were reviewed at the forum, including how to develop education in the country, the issues facing future generations and how to keep up with advances in technology.

Sheikh Mohammed praised committee for their part in organising an important platform to support education, reported state news agency Wam.
