Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak received the president of the United Nations General Assembly, Maria Fernanda Espinosa, at the Sea Palace in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and deputy supreme commander of the armed forces and Sheikha Fatima, chairwoman of the General Women's Union, president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and supreme chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, welcomed Ms Espinosa and thanked her for her participation in the World Government Summit, being held in Dubai this week.
Ms Espinosa praised Sheikha Fatima's support for women, which has enabled more women to take up high-level positions in the private and government sectors.

Sheikh Mohamed additionally received Lee Jae-yong, vice chairman of Samsung Group, on Monday. Mr Lee is also in the UAE to participate in the ongoing summit.
They explored prospects for co-operation between UAE and Korean companies.
