A sales executive sent a text message insulting Islam and the Prophet Mohammed to a fellow employee, a Dubai court heard yesterday.
KS, 34, a British Muslim, said he had been on a business trip to Saudi Arabia with his compatriot DM in March when the sales executive told him Umra and prayers were not among approved company activities.
KS said this prompted him to resign. He said that two days later he received a text message that insulted Islam and the Prophet Mohammed.
The case, heard in the Misdemeanours Court, was adjourned until August 7.
