RAS AL KHAIMAH // In support of the Year of Reading, Maj Gen Ali Al Nuaimi, chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, launched a “Let’s Read” initiative, to help encourage reading as a social habit and create and intellectual culture in society.
The initiative will promote the culture of reading through access to books and panel discussions, offering opportunities to attend literary forums and workshops, emphasising the importance of reading.
He said a variety of books will be distributed to all employees of Ras Al Khaimah Police in the first phase of the initiative.
