ABU DHABI // Scattered rain was reported across the UAE on Tuesday morning with unstable weather expected to continue until Wednesday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.
Several crashes were reported across Dubai with major delays on most major roadways during the morning commute.
Towering clouds are expected to increase with rainfall of different intensities and moderate to fresh winds causing blowing dust and sand over exposed areas.
Visibility will be poor at times and temperatures will drop, with the lowest reaching 10°C in the mountainous areas and the highest at 35°C in the internal areas.
Winds are expected to reach 55km per hour in coastal areas and the sea in the Arabian Gulf will be rough.
Cloudy weather and overcast skies are reported for Wednesday with a chance of scattered rain, especially over the southern and eastern areas.
Clouds are expected to decrease at night but the sea will remain rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Oman Sea.
Fair to partly cloudy weather is expected on Thursday with moderate to fresh winds, especially over the sea, which will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Oman Sea.
