A public market featuring goods made by 150 local families will take place during the fifth Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival.
Held in Al Wathba from November 20, the market will be organised by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The organisation will support the families under the directives of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and the foundation’s chairman, through his interest in community development in the UAE to help the needy and those with limited income.
Mohammed Al Khoury, the foundation’s director-general, said it would support the families by allowing them to sell their handmade products.
