President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed has sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, on the death of Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have also dispatched similar cables.
In a statement Monday night, the Saudi Arabia Royal Court announced that Prince Bandar had died. Funeral prayers will be performed at Makkah's Grand Mosque following Asr regular prayer today.
