ABU DHABI // The pilot and co-pilot of a military helicopter died after their aircraft crashed on Sunday.
The helicopter was on a routine flight over international waters, reported state news agency Wam. The statement did not give details of the type of helicopter involved.
The General Command of the Armed Forces extended its condolences to the families of the dead servicemen.
The crash marks the second such incident in the UAE in less than a month.
On May 15, a UAE military aircraft crashed during a training flight in the country. The accident resulted in the death a trainee pilot and an instructor.
