The National Committee for Air Quality recently held its first meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Environment and Water in Dubai.
The committee aims to encourage the relevant authorities within the country to intensify their efforts towards improving air quality and achieving the air quality target set within the UAE Vision 2021.
The committee members include representatives from the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, the Ministry of Environment and Water, the Environmental Agency - Abu Dhabi, municipalities and other government organisations.
